After a 20-year career behind the bar, I traded my cocktail shaker for a sketchbook (and haven’t looked back since).

I went on to earn my certificate in Children’s Book Illustration from UC San Diego, where I fell in love with creating worlds that feel both whimsical and deeply human.

I pour the same creative focus into every project, guided by three core ingredients:
